About Totus One

Accountants, financial planners and solicitors for private clients, in one London office.

Three professionals in conversation on a London street

The founders

Totus One was founded in 2025 by three people who had been circling the same idea for years. Andy Jackson, who builds and runs accountancy firms; Vince De Stefano, an independent financial planner; and Robert Festenstein, a solicitor — each running their own established practice, and each forever sending clients to the other two.

What struck them was how often good advice cooled in the handover. Individually, their clients were well served. Collectively, no one held the whole picture — and the client ended up carrying messages between firms that never quite joined up. So the three stopped referring and started building: one firm, in Clerkenwell, where accountancy, financial planning and law work side by side.

Totus One is the firm they wanted their clients to have.

Why “Totus”

Totus is Latin for whole — and the name is the promise. Most professional advice fails not because any single adviser is wrong, but because nobody is looking at the whole: the accountant optimises tax, the planner optimises the portfolio, the solicitor optimises the document, and the gaps between them belong to no one. At Totus One one team is responsible for all three.

The “One” stands for one firm and one team accountable for the advice.

The size of the firm

Large firms offer tax, financial and legal advice, but clients rarely deal with the partners, and the departments can work as separately as three different firms.

Totus One covers all three disciplines and is small enough that you deal with a founder or a senior specialist. Everyone working on your affairs sits in the same office.

How we work

  • Founder-led. The people who built the firm are the people who advise you.
  • One team. Your accountant, planner and solicitor work from the same record of your affairs.
  • London-based, UK-wide. Our office is in Clerkenwell on the edge of the City; our clients are all over the country.
  • Plain English, agreed prices. Clear scope and cost up front, and advice you can actually act on.

The first 90 days

Weeks 1–2: your current position

We gather your tax returns, pensions, investments, insurance policies, wills and property documents, and take over from any outgoing advisers.

Weeks 3–6: the findings

You receive one written assessment of what is working, what is costing money or carrying risk, and what we recommend, ranked by impact, with the cost of each item agreed before we start.

Weeks 7–12: putting it in place

We carry out the highest-impact items, such as correcting returns, updating wills and implementing the financial plan, each led by the right specialist.

Ongoing

We review the plan each year and before major decisions, and deal with deadlines without you having to chase.
